This is an exciting time to get involved with us as we are embarking on the development of a major project to establish Fell Foot as an all year round, flagship outdoor destination for the National Trust. We are entering a crucial development phase, where we have teamed up with Sport England to put Fell Foot on the map as an entry level outdoor sport destination, a place where you can safely experience a wide variety of sports before taking your newly learnt skills into the wider Lake District. We have an Internship opportunity starting in June – here is a link to find out more and/or apply http://bit.ly/1SYlfPa . The 6 month/part-time Sport Development Intern will be working outdoors on the edge of Lake Windermere to help with hands-on delivery of an exciting and innovative sports offer for the summer holidays 2016. They will also plan, design, promote and deliver a Community Sports Day event in the Autumn.
Please do get in touch with our Volunteer & Community Involvement Officer, Kelley for more info or to discuss the opportunity – firstname.lastname@example.org . (Closing date 25th May/ Interview date 2nd June)
