What a busy and fun few months we’ve had! Here’s just a couple of the things we’ve been up to!
In June, Leven Valley School, from the nearby village of Backbarrow, visited Fell Foot to take part in a project to learn about the park’s history. The children explored the boathouses, gas house and lakeshore and also revealed connections with their own families through the generations.
We were thrilled to welcome Dare Dance and the Brewery Arts Centre in July for their ‘Now and Then’ outdoor performance. Inspired by Fell Foot’s heritage, 100 young people interpreted the park’s past and present through a fantastic collection of dances.
The park has really come to life over the past few weeks. The sun is shining (be it intermittently) and the school holidays have brought along lots of visitors enjoying the open spaces, lake views and activities on offer.
